A leadership-development diagnostic created by Novaris Transformation Lab to examine how clearly authority is transferred, supported, and held accountable. The complete assessment framework, scoring logic, interpretation language, and development guidance are presented as Novaris Transformation Lab content.
These details appear in the downloadable report. They remain in this browser unless you export the result.
The Novaris framework looks at six practical conditions that make delegation effective:
Answer based on your typical leadership behavior over the last 8-12 weeks, not on what you believe an ideal leader should do. This tool is intended for coaching, workshops, and organizational development. It has not been presented as a normed or independently validated psychometric instrument and should not be used as the sole basis for hiring, promotion, discipline, or other high-stakes employment decisions.
Choose the option that best reflects your typical behavior. There are no right answers. Some statements are intentionally phrased in the opposite direction; scoring adjusts for that automatically.
Each item uses a five-point agreement scale from Strongly Disagree (1) to Strongly Agree (5). Six negatively phrased items are reverse scored as 6 minus the selected response. Each dimension contains five items. Dimension scores are linearly converted to 0-100, where 0 represents the theoretical minimum and 100 the theoretical maximum. The overall index is the average of the six dimension scores.
The bands are developmental descriptors designed for this tool: Constrained (0-39), Inconsistent (40-54), Functional (55-69), Enabling (70-84), and Multiplying (85-100). These cut points are not population norms and should not be described as psychometric standards unless Novaris later conducts and documents an appropriate validation study.
The assessment statements, six-dimension framework, score labels, interpretation text, development actions, and report wording in this file are presented as Novaris Transformation Lab content. The tool is intended as a transparent leadership-development framework and does not claim population norms or clinical diagnostic status.
Use the profile as a structured reflection and development aid. Results may be influenced by self-perception, current context, role design, and response style. For organizational decisions, combine this profile with behavior examples, stakeholder input, role requirements, and professional judgment. Do not use this assessment as the sole basis for employment selection, promotion, compensation, discipline, or diagnosis.
